1. AAP 2027 Action Spécifique Numérique

L'Action Spécifique Numérique (ASNum) propose de soutenir financièrement plusieurs types d'actions autour de l'astrophysique numérique en 2027 :
- l’organisation de colloques et d’ateliers d’échanges sur des méthodes en numérique et analyse de données
- l’organisation de réunions de travail pour le développement de codes communautaires et l’exploitation des infrastructures de calcul
- l’organisation de formations à l’utilisation d’infrastructures de calcul, de librairies scientifiques, de codes communautaires
- la participation à des réunions et conférences en lien avec le calcul scientifique tant HPC que HPDA
Le CS de l'ASNum demande les porteurs à estimer l'empreinte carbone de leur projet (déplacements, hébergements, achats...) avec l'outil GESAAP de l'INSU. De même que pour les autres AAP INSU (CSAA, Programmes nationaux) l'empreinte environnementale s'ajoutera cette année aux critères habituellement pris en compte. Cependant, l'impact environnemental de l'utilisation d'outils de calculs ne sont pas pris en compte dans GESAAP puisque non financé par cet appel à projets; nous encourageons donc à indiquer toute action mise en place réduisant cet impact.
Le CS portera une attention particulière aux actions inter-disciplinaires qui permettent de rapprocher des spécialistes issus des domaines scientifiques liés au méthodes numériques (informatique, traitement du signal, mathématiques appliquées...) et des astrophysicien.ne.s.
Les demandes doivent être envoyées au plus tard le 25 septembre 2026 à demandeasn@services.cnrs.fr et aussi être adressées en cc au directeur d’unité du porteur du projet.

The 'Action Spécifique Numérique' (ASNum) proposes to provide financial support for several types of initiatives related to computational astrophysics in 2027:
- organizing symposia and workshops on digital methods and data analysis
- organizing working meetings for the development of community codes and the use of computing infrastructures
- organizing training sessions on the use of computing infrastructures, scientific libraries, and community codes
- participating in meetings and conferences related to scientific computing, including both HPC and HPDA
The ASNum Scientific Committee asks project leaders to estimate their project’s carbon footprint (travel, lodging, purchases, etc.) using the INSU’s GESAAP tool. As with other INSU calls for proposals (CSAA, National Programs), the environmental footprint will be added this year to the criteria typically considered. However, the environmental impact of using computational infrastructures is not taken into account in GESAAP since it is not funded by this call for proposals; we therefore encourage applicants to indicate any measures implemented to reduce this impact.
The Scientific Committee will pay particular attention to interdisciplinary initiatives that bring together specialists from scientific fields related to numerical methods (computer science, signal processing, applied mathematics, etc.) and astrophysicists.

2. Workshop Cesam2k20 IV - First announcement

Workshop Cesam2k20 IV: Modelling of the components of a multiple stellar system with exoplanets
Novembre 19-20, 2026
Meudon (France)
In order to strengthen the community of users around the Cesam2k20 public stellar evolution code, we are organising a third workshop which will take place on 19-20 November 2026, at the Meudon site of Paris Observatory for *30 participants*. The workshop website is now open: https://cesamworkshop4.sciencesconf.org.
This year's edition will explore various aspects of the modelling illustrated with the binary system with exoplanet TOI 858. Expert and novice users of Cesam2k20 are welcome and part of the workshop will be dedicated to installing and getting to grips with the code.
This workshop is intended for all communities using stellar models (stellar physics, exoplanets, disks, physics of the Milky Way and of galaxies, etc.). We can provide (partial) financial support for people travelling from distant locations or whose laboratory is unable to fund the full cost of their attendance. When examining applications, the SOC will be particularly attentive to potential biases in the allocation of grants.

The deadline for funding applications is the 4h September 2026 (midnight).
Registrations will be open from the 24th June 2026 to the 2nd October 2026 (midnight).
The number of places is limited to 30 participants, so please register as soon as possible.
